How do I wirelessly transmit MIDI to my DAW?
- Tap "Wireless MIDI" in the Instrument Picker.
- Turn on the "Advertise MIDI Service" toggle in the Wireless MIDI view.
- On your Mac, open the "Audio MIDI Setup" app in the /Applications/Utilities folder. Open MIDI Studio by selecting Windows > Show MIDI Studio in the menu bar.
- Tap the blue Bluetooth toolbar button in the MIDI Studio window's header.
- When you see your iPhone or iPad in the Bluetooth Configuration window, tap the "Connect" button.
- Congrats! Wireless MIDI is now enabled. Any bars you tap in popchord will now send MIDI to your Mac. Be sure to enable MIDI input for your device in your DAW's settings.
- Optional: In the Instrument Picker, set the instrument to "None" so no instrument sound plays on your device while sending MIDI notes.
